This is your first step in understanding how we can support your child's educational journey.

Applying to our school is straightforward and transparent. Complete our online application, gather required documents, and submit before our deadline. We look for families who align with our Catholic values and are committed to their child's holistic development. Our application process ensures we get to know your family and your child's potential.

The interview is a warm, welcoming conversation designed to understand your child and family. We're not just assessing academics, but looking at character, potential, and how your child might thrive in our community. Open houses are typically held in January, each school manages its own open house, please contact your selected school for more information.

Step Two
Application
After the Open House, the online application process begins at your chosen school, here is what you can except.

Applications usually open on January 15
Deadline is typically January 22
Complete the online application form with your chosen school

Documents you may be asked for from your chosen school:
Student's birth certificate
Proof of citizenship for both parents
Student's baptismal certificate (if applicable)
Most recent report card (for Grades 1-7)
Proof of residency

Pay the non-refundable application fee (if applicable)

Step Three
Interview
The Catholic Independent Schools Vancouver Archdiocese (CISVA) admissions process is designed to be thorough and informative for both prospective students and their families. If your application is shortlisted, you can expect the following steps:

For Kindergarten, interviews are usually scheduled 2-3 weeks after the Open House
For Grades 1-7, interviews are scheduled if space is available
Both parents and the child may be asked to attend

Acceptance notifications are typically sent out in early February
Connect with your local school as each school operates independently and may have it’s own process.

Once registered, you'll need to purchase the required school uniforms:
Uniforms are typically available from designated suppliers
Requirements may include and are specific to each school:
Formal uniform (for Mondays and special occasions)
Informal gym class
