A century of faith, learning and community is something truly worth celebrating.
This year, Our Lady of Sorrows School marks 100 years of Catholic education in East Vancouver, celebrating generations of students, families and educators who have helped shape the school community since 1926. The history and generations behind this milestone were featured in our earlier CISVA centennial story.

Join the Centennial Celebration
The celebration continues on November 21, 2026, when generations of the Our Lady of Sorrows community will come together for the 100th Anniversary Gala at the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver. With dinner, dancing and plenty of memories to share, it will be a wonderful opportunity for alumni, families, staff and friends to celebrate this remarkable milestone together.
